Greeting from the CEO
SMP Technologies was established in October 2008 as an engineering company that commercializes unique polymer materials. For the past 16.5 years since our establishment, we have always valued our technology, and have made it our mission to contribute to solving our customers' problems and creating value.
The world of polymer materials is evolving day by day, and social needs are becoming increasingly diverse. In addition to polyurethane based shape memory polymers, we have developed and trademarked silicone based shape memory polymers and new polymers with dilatant properties, and are constantly challenging ourselves to innovate.
Our strengths are our extensive know-how and patents regarding shape memory polymers, and our flexibility to respond to a variety of fields such as aerospace, medicine, and textiles. In addition, we have earned a solid reputation in domestic and international markets for our high-quality, high-performance products based on polymer molecular design technology.
As we move forward, businesses will need to address rapidly changing social and environmental challenges. We will continue to take on new challenges, striving to contribute to the realization of safe, secure, and prosperous lives while pursuing technological innovation and minimizing environmental impact.
